Call for papers

Extension for the delivery of abstracts for February 3

Basis

1. Participation is open to academics and students specializing in the field on topics related to industrial development policies and technological innovation in the areas of:
   - Agriculture and agribusiness.
   - Manufacturing and local linkages.
   - Services and technological innovation.
   - Traditional financing and new alternatives.
   - Employment, wages, and industrial policy.
   - Industrial development with an environmental perspective.
2. Upload the summary of your papers to http://sitepe.iiec.unam.mx/. From December 12, 2022, until February 3, 2023, at 14:00 hours in an electronic PDF file with Times New Roman 12-point font, 1.5 line spacing, and following the model of citations and references of the American Psychological Association (APA). Extension of the abstract of 250 words.
3. Confirmation of acceptance will be sent by e-mail and published on the same website. Selected papers will be presented at the Seminar.
4. The registration form available on the same web page should be filled out, to which a biographical sketch of each participant should be added, as well as contact information including name, institution, telephone number, and e-mail address. In the case of collective works, the name of the representative of the group of authors must be indicated. This document shall be submitted to the jury for its opinion.
5. The jury will be composed of the coordinators of the Seminar, and the jury's decision will be final.
6. The Young Scholars Initiative will evaluate and award travel scholarships to young scholars whose work is selected by the jury. Applicants should indicate their desire to be considered for such a scholarship in their abstract submission.
7. Once your paper has been selected, you have until March 3, 2023, at 14:00 hours to submit your full paper. The document must include the title of the article, the abstract, introduction, methodology, results, discussion, conclusions, and bibliography. The work should have a maximum length of 25 pages, with Times New Roman 12-point font, 1.5 line spacing, and follow the model of citations and references of the American Psychological Association (APA). The paper should be submitted as an electronic PDF file by uploading it to the website http://sitepe.iiec.unam.mx/.
8. Before March 10, 2023, those selected will be notified via e-mail of their participation in the Seminar.
9. Selected papers will be exhibited during the Seminar. The Institute reserves the right to publish them in the book "Instrumentos de política de desarrollo industrial e innovación tecnológica,” which will be co-published by CIDE and UNAM once the requirements established by the university regulations on publishing matters have been met.
10. The jury will resolve aspects not foreseen in this call.
